The Samoan Spike was originally meant for Cody Rhodes, who made his way to the ring and brawled with Sikoa. The latter interfered during the Triple Threat Match between Jacob Fatu, Braun Strowman, and Damian Priest. Sikoa tried to hit the world champion with his signature Spike with Tama holding Rhodes, but the latter moved out of the way, leading to Sikoa landing the Spike on his stablemate. 

Tonga sent a two-word message after the incident, claiming that his neck was hurt due to the Samoan Spike.

Back in November 2024, Cargill was found beaten down backstage, prompting WWE to pull her from action. At the time of the incident, she was one-half of the Women's Tag Team Champions alongside Bianca Belair. Following the attack where Jade Cargill sustained several injuries, her title was given to Naomi. 

Following weeks of speculation regarding who could be the attacker, Nick Aldis finally came up with some concrete evidence on WWE SmackDown. In a backstage segment, Aldis showed Belair and Naomi the footage of the incident, where Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez could be seen walking near the ambulance.

Stratton became the new WWE Women's Champion on the January 3rd, 2025, edition of SmackDown. She finally cashed in her Money in the Bank contract on Jax and dethroned her. This week on the blue brand, the former champion finally got her rematch but was unsuccessful in regaining the title, as Candice LeRae's interference led to a No Contest.

Post-match, Jax and LeRae continued assaulting Stratton before Trish Stratus saved the Women's Champion. However, the Hall of Famer was also laid out by Jax. The Queen finally made her way out to the ring, as she set up a huge title match for WrestleMania 41. On X, Flair reacted immediately after challenging Stratton, sending her a six-word message.

PWInsider has reported that R-Truth has changed brands and is moving to SmackDown. He has been removed from the RAW roster going forward. R-Truth has been a constant presence in WWE, making shows funnier through his humorous takes and ability to make light of any situation. 

The fact that he appears completely confused while doing so has only added to his character. Damian Priest and Truth are very familiar with each other, as the star often thinks he is part of Judgment Day. As a result, Truth considers himself to be good friends with Priest and his former faction mates.
