SMACKDOWN SYNOPSIS

Nick Aldis made his way out to the ring and said there was always a chance for stars to get injured, and they may never set foot in the ring again. He said that there was a reason that WWE asked fans not to try it at home and called out Owens to the ring to deliver his message.
Kevin Owens' voice was shaky. He said he had been wrestling for 25 years and had given everything he had every time he stepped inside the ring. KO acknowledged that he had the chance to care for his family in a way he had only dreamed of, but he had paid the price for it with the toll it took on his body. He was out of character. ![]() On WWE SmackDown, things got out of control when Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton came face to face. Amidst rumors of real-life heat between them, the two stars decided to make things even more real. In the past, Charlotte appeared to go off-script and bury Stratton when they faced off in a promo battle. There was more of the same tonight, but instead of Charlotte, Tiffany made the cutting remarks. As per Sean Ross Sapp, both stars went “heavily off-script” in their promos tonight. The comments about Flair's divorce were unexpected and added to the immersion in that moment. On top of that, Charlotte claimed Ludwig Kaiser DM'd her, trying to take shots at Stratton's real-life relationship, but Tiffany walked away before she could finish. Stratton's comments about Flair's divorce and her being 0-3 in her marriages also hit hard on The Queen, who was left flustered and unsure in her promo. WWE's video of the entire segment on social media removed all the controversial comments. | ![]() The Wiseman stood in the parking lot waiting for Roman Reigns to pull up to the arena. The whole night, he was waiting for him nervously. During the wait, Heyman even gave a shout-out to CM Punk, letting him know that whatever the favor was, the answer was yes. He could not take it anymore. Although he seemed to be doing this reluctantly, it gave Punk everything he wanted without even revealing what it was. When Roman Reigns arrived, it's safe to say that he was unhappy with The Wiseman. However, later, they stood in the ring together. He didn't even wait to greet Heyman before going to the ring. He walked right past him, and Heyman had to run to keep up with the Tribal Chief, who was focused on only one thing- his WrestleMania opponent. |
FROM THE RUMOR MILL
Big Match John pulled his biggest shocker on the WWE Universe at Elimination Chamber after securing a world title shot for the last WrestleMania of his career. Heel Cena has generated strong buzz going into this year's Show of Shows, and a main topic of discussion during the retirement year of the 16-time World Champion is if he will win a 17th for the tie-breaker with Ric Flair.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter now reports that sources are revealing how WWE officials have at least considered ending Cody's reign at WrestleMania Sunday. The Final Boss status for this year's 'Mania in Vegas is uncertain right now, but it was noted that Rock has likely been planned for a major role at 'Mania 41 for some time.
