Earlier this year, John Cena made it clear that he was after his 17th world title. At Elimination Chamber, he earned the right to face Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41. However, he turned heel after the match and ambushed The American Nightmare. Over the next few weeks, Cody and Cena engaged in heated promo battles against each other. Tonight, they finally locked horns with each other at WrestleMania Sunday. Cena, being the heel, worked Cody for most of the match. The American Nightmare was resilient as he kicked out of four Attitude Adjustments, including a super AA from the second rope.

During the closing stages of the bout, Travis Scott came out to the ring. Cena tried to hold Cody Rhodes up so that Travis could hit him, but The American Nightmare escaped and hit the Cross Rhodes on Cena. However, Travis Scott pulled the referee out of the ring to stop the pinfall. Cody then invited Travis into the ring. The rapper tried to slap the Undisputed WWE Champion but was stopped as Cody hit a Cross Rhodes on him. This distraction was enough for Cena to hit Cody with a low blow, followed by a shot with the Undisputed WWE Title, and he won the match.

There has been severe competition for the Intercontinental Championship in recent months. Bron Breakker has been busy fending off multiple challengers. Finn Balor and Penta have been trying to get a title shot for weeks. Dominik Mysterio spoke to Adam Pearce and also got himself involved in the title picture. Hence, WWE announced a fatal four-way match at WrestleMania 41.

This match took place on Night Two of WrestleMania 41 and was filled with many memorable moments, such as when Dominik turned on Balor and attempted to hit him with the 619. However, Balor stopped him and stomped him to the ground. Carlito also tried to get involved in the match to assist his stablemates, but Bron Breakker halted him by spearing him through the announcer's table. Near the end of the match, Mysterio hit Breakker with the 619 and was about to execute the frog splash when Finn Balor tripped him on the top rope. Balor then connected with a sling blade on Breakker and followed it up with a shotgun dropkick and the Coup de Grâce. When Balor went for the cover, Dominik hit him with the spear and pinned his stablemate for the win.

The Rattlesnake was at the Hall of Fame ceremony on Friday, as his WrestleMania 13 match with Bret “The Hitman” Hart was inducted into the Class of 2025. Many regard it as one of the greatest and most memorable WWE matches of all time. After the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship match, which saw a returning Becky Lynch team up with RAW star Lyra Valkyria to dethrone Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, Stone Cold Steve Austin made a surprise WrestleMania return.

He came out with his ATV, which he has done plenty of times before. However, as he was circling the ring, he accidentally crashed into the barricade in front of him, and a woman who was behind the barricade fell backwards. After Steve Austin announced the attendance for the show, he left the ring and went to check up on the person. Nick Khan was there, communicating with the fan. Austin had to walk to the back, leaving his 4-wheeler at the ringside.

FROM THE RUMOR MILL

It looks like the wheels were in motion for one-half of The Hardy Boyz to return. Earlier today, Cory Hays of Bodyslam reported that Jeff Hardy's name was thrown out as a possible opponent for Randy Orton at WrestleMania 41.

Of course, the plans fell through, as TNA World Champion Joe Hendry was revealed as The Viper's mystery opponent on Night Two of WrestleMania 41. Randy Orton made quick work of his opponent, taking him out with an RKO to pick up the win in his 20th match at The Showcase of the Immortals.

Dominik Mysterio has been one of the biggest heels in the industry for more than 2 years now, and the star getting cheered at WrestleMania 41 was a massive surprise on its own. While there were speculations of Dominik pinning Balor and winning the title, it was expected that the Prince would eventually turn face with Mysterio and Judgment Day betraying him.

This was expected to lead to Balor quitting the faction and focusing on his singles career as a babyface once again. However, things turned out the way they did on WrestleMania Sunday and the fans ended up cheering for Mysterio.
