John Cena has unfortunate streak heading into WWE WrestleMania

Inside: Scott Steiner's message to Bron Breakker's opponents

TOP STORIES TODAY

John Cena has an unfortunate streak heading into WWE WrestleMania 41. The legend will be challenging Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship in the main event of The Show of Shows this year.

The account “Wrestle Features” on X/Twitter pointed out a remarkable stat about John Cena today on social media. The veteran has not won a singles match at a WWE premium live event in seven years. He did team up with LA Knight at Fastlane 2023 to defeat Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa in a tag team match. However, he has not won a singles match at a PLE since defeating Triple H at WWE Greatest Royal Rumble in 2018.

Tiffany Stratton will be defending the WWE Women's Championship against Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 41. The Buff Barbie and the veteran went off-script during their promo on this past Friday's episode of SmackDown and took shots at each other.

Stratton noted that Flair was 0-3 in marriages after she and Andrade got divorced earlier this year. Charlotte Flair responded by claiming that Ludwig Kaiser was in her DMs. The champion and Kaiser shared an update on Instagram today and enjoyed a drink together amid the drama.

Scott Steiner sent a message to Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, and Penta, all three of Bron Breakker's opponents for WrestleMania 41. The reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion will defend his title in a Fatal Four-Way Match.

The match was made official earlier this week. There has been tension between all four superstars for multiple weeks. Mysterio and Balor recently defeated Breakker and Penta in a tag team match, with Balor pinning the masked luchador. On X, Steiner sent a message to the superstars involved in the Intercontinental Championship picture. The veteran referenced his iconic "Steiner Math" promo.

FROM THE RUMOR MILL

Kelly Kelly retired from WWE at the age of 25 over a decade ago. She subsequently pursued other ventures, including reality TV and film acting. But it appears the former Divas Champion is back in the wrestling business.

Her last WWE appearance was at the 2022 Royal Rumble. The show has been notable for always featuring surprise entrants. Since the women's iteration of the annual Battle Royal commenced in 2018, Kelly Kelly has competed in three of the marquee matches in 2018, 2020, and 2022. According to Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp, the 38-year-old has now signed a WWE Legends deal.

WHAT COULD BE NEXT?

Jey Uso has become one of WWE's most popular stars over the past few months and could go on to become World Champion at WrestleMania next weekend. However, could he also be The Rock's plan B?

The Rock has made it clear that he wants a corporate champion. So, if John Cena is unable to defeat Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso can overcome Gunther, then he could align with The Final Boss instead, in one of the biggest shocks of the year.

Finn Balor is set to challenge Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship in a Fatal Four-way match involving Dominik Mysterio and Penta at WrestleMania 41. The Prince has been eyeing a singles title victory for a long time now, and the Grandest Stage of Them All could be the perfect place for him to make headlines.

However, there is a chance that Balor's real-life friend, JD McDonagh, will make his return from injury to cost him his title match at the Showcase of the Immortals.
