Inside: Rusev breaks silence after WWE return

John Cena met his first challenger post-WrestleMania 41, and it didn't take very long for that to happen. In the very first segment after WrestleMania 41, Cena was attacked by his legendary rival. Backlash 2025 will take place in St. Louis, Missouri. It also happens to be the hometown of The Viper, Randy Orton. Orton and John Cena have had a legendary and storied rivalry through the Ruthless Aggression Era into the early parts of the PG Era.
While their last proper rivalry took place towards the end of 2013, their last match happened just shy of 3000 days ago on an episode of SmackDown in February 2017. They will likely run it back as Randy Orton hit an RKO to Cena on the RAW after WrestleMania 41.
 Rusev is now back in WWE, and he wants everyone to know. The star has broken his silence. He caused utter destruction immediately after his return, taking apart Otis and Akira Tozawa while Maxxine Dupri looked on. He also attacked the New Day, sending them retreating, despite being the new WWE World Tag Team Champions. After the star finished the attack, he went to the back, where he addressed his return further. He made it clear that he was ready for what was next. Rusev talked about his time in AEW without outright mentioning it. |  Seth Rollins bragged about taking The Wiseman of Roman Reigns and the best friend of CM Punk. He mentioned that he was the winner of the main event of WrestleMania 41 before CM Punk interrupted him. No words were said. 48 hours after the main event of WrestleMania, CM Punk was beating Seth Rollins into a corner. He was merciless. After turning back and looking toward Paul Heyman. CM Punk's eyes were gouged by Seth Rollins, who hit him with a massive stomp and took him out. Paul Heyman concluded WrestleMania 41 weekend by propelling the news to WrestleMania 42. He said there's a new, reigning, defending, undisputed top star in the entire industry - Seth "Freakin" Rollins. The credits were even rolling, but Roman Reigns' music hit, and The OTC came out. He hit a spear on Seth Rollins, and Heyman was left in disbelief. He hit Heyman with a Superman punch. He was about to hit another spear, but he was taken out himself by none other than Bron Breakker. It became clear as day that he's the next Paul Heyman guy. |

WWE personality Cathy Kelley is reportedly training for a surprising new role in the company. She currently serves as a backstage interviewer for the promotion.
According to a new report from PWInsider, Kelley has been training at the WWE Performance Center and has also been involved in promo classes for some time in preparation for an unknown on-camera role. It has been speculated that she could be training for a possible managerial role in the promotion, but that has not been confirmed.

The Viper stunned Cena with an RKO on Monday Night RAW tonight, right when Cena was going with his verbal trash. This RKO was just a message for The Cenation Leader that Randy Orton could be the next Undisputed WWE Champion. This may also mark the first time a heel John Cena would face a face Orton.
However, Cena may not go into this battle alone. As a heel now, The Champ could bring back Omos as his bodyguard. The 416-pound giant has been surprisingly absent from the company for the past year. He is still under contract with WWE, but The Nigerian Giant has strangely been missing from the shows.
