Triple H has reason to celebrate. For once, instead of celebrating the achievements of WWE stars he has booked and mentored, there's reportedly reason for The Game to celebrate himself. As per reports earlier today, during a WWE Town Hall meeting, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, and Stephanie McMahon all surprised Triple H by revealing that this year, he was going to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

This blindsided him, as he was apparently not aware of any such plans, and even left the legendary superstar emotional. The Game also apparently joked about wanting to kill Nick Khan. This will be the star's second induction to the Hall of Fame, with the first coming as part of the D-Generation X faction as a whole.

Jordynne Grace recently posted an intriguing social media update ahead of her potential appearance at the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event. The Juggernaut bid adieu to TNA following her loss to Tessa Blanchard at the Genesis Pay Per View.

The 28-year-old has reportedly inked a multi-year deal with the Stamford-based company, leading to fans speculating Grace's appearance in the Women's Royal Rumble for a second consecutive year. She entered the match last year at No. 5 as the TNA Knockouts World Champion and spent 19 minutes inside the squared circle before getting eliminated by Bianca Belair. Jordynne Grace recently took to her Instagram account to note how she has grown during her journey in TNA Wrestling. She posted multiple pictures of herself depicting her transformation over the years.

At the WWE Town Hall meeting, Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker interrupted Triple H to reveal that they had decided that He would be inducted into the Hall of Fame for his singles career. Later, Stephanie McMahon came out to hug him.

Taking to X, Stephanie McMahon revealed she was as surprised as Triple H to hear the news that Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker shared. She said it was her honor to witness their brotherhood with The Game. The former WWE Chairperson thanked them for the decision, as Triple H would have never done so himself. She ended by congratulating The Game and said that he had earned his place in immortality as part of the Hall of Fame Class of 2025.

TODAY IN HISTORY

1991 – ‘Clash Of The Champions: Dixie Dogfight’ from the Georgia Mountain Center in Gainesville, Georgia was the 14th ‘Clash’ event and first to be promoted solely by WCW. In the main event for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, defending champion Ric Flair and Scott Steiner fought to a draw.

2001 – WWE taped a special episode of SmackDown called ‘SmackDown Extreme’ at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. The show was themed to be a cross-promotion for the XFL project that was set to launch the following weekend. The main event saw Kurt Angle retain the WWF Championship against The Rock and Triple H in a triple-threat match.

2005 – WWE Royal Rumble took place at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California. In the Rumble match, Batista won after a unique ending. With Bastista and John Cena the last two, a botched finish saw both men eliminated at the same time. In an attempt to get the ending back on track, WWE chairman Vince McMahon marched into the arena. Upon entering the ring he immediately tore a quad muscle in one of his legs. Amazingly, whilst trying to disguise the original injury, he managed to tear the quad in the other leg! Despite being in absolute agony, he sat on the mat and barked instructions to the two wrestlers. The match was deemed to restart and Batista quickly won as planned.

2011 – The WWE Royal Rumble went down at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. The Rumble match itself was won by Alberto Del Rio. It was the first ever 40 man Royal Rumble match and at a length of 69 minutes and 51 seconds, it became the longest match in WWE history by 27 seconds.

2019 – At an NXT TV taping at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida, Velveteen Dream defeated Johnny Gargano to win the NXT North American Championship. This was the first title win of any kind in Dream’s career.

FROM THE RUMOR MILL

Bo Dallas, aka Uncle Howdy, and his sinister friends suffered a big eight-man tag team loss to The Final Testament in December. Howdy has not been around since that loss, but Nikki Cross, aka Abby the Witch, Joe Gacy, aka Huskus the Pig Boy, Mercy the Buzzard, aka Dexter Lumis, and Erick Rowan, aka Ramblin' Rabbit, have been seen amid rumors on their RAW Netflix debut. That debut never came as The Sicks were recently moved to SmackDown.

The Wyatt Sicks have not debuted on SmackDown as of now. A new report from Fightful Select acknowledges how there's speculation on The Sicks' absence being related to Alexa Bliss and rumors of her return being delayed. However, it appears The Wyatt Sicks' storyline is on hold due to an injury.
